Team 687 is from the California Academy of Mathematics and Science (CAMS), a small public high school in Carson, California. During a six-week building season, students and mentors of Team 687 design and construct a robot built to accomplish and excel in game tasks announced by For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) . Approximately 20 percent of the student body at CAMS is a part of Team 687. CAMS Robotics Team 687 is a great way for students to gain hands-on experience in the fields of engineering, technology, business, and animation.
